"My name is Angelica Coric and I recently filed a claim with my insurance company for water damage cased by a leaking shower pan in my master bath. My insurance agent (Citizen Insurance) sent me a proffered list of contractors, but the company they sent was hard to get a hold of and basically sat on their hands for practically a week. My friend, Jim Saucedo, a State Farm agent, gave me your number and assured me that you were the best in the business. That same day I called I had a representative from your company at my home to inspect the damage, and the following morning I had a crew working diligently to find the source of the leak and starting the repairs.
I wish I could remember all the names of all your employees that assist in the repairs, but you should be proud to know that every one of your employees were courteous, respectful and are hard workers. JoAnne Czechowski, your coordinator, can maybe tell you who they are. One sticks out in particular, but his name escapes me.
JoAnne was always on top of what was going on and always followed up with me to make sure things were up to my expectations. She worked with the insurance claim representative to make sure I was covered for all repairs and settled any issues directly with him. I was going through a divorce during the time of the repairs and I was extremely stressed out and if it wasn’t for JoAnne handling all the small details for me I think I would have gone crazy!

"It is with great pleasure that I write this correspondence. In January of this year, I was out of town for 3 days. When I returned home, I had a collapsed ceiling in my first floor office; a hole in the ceiling and water running down the walls and out of the electrical sockets in my first floor bathroom; and carpet that was so saturated with water on the second floor that it and the padding had to be removed and replaced.
Initially, like any homeowner, I was shocked. I wondered first if my cat was all right. I then ran to the phone book and called the company that had done repairs in my home a years or so prior – the last time I had a ceiling collapse due to a leaking roof. I called SunGlo Restoration because I remembered how pleased I was with their services before.
One hour after I called, I saw trucks pulling into my driveway. Under the direction of Denis Jankowski, several teams of men arrived at my home and immediately assured me that my situation could have been much worse. They set up fans and humidifiers throughout my home. They removed and disposed of what seemed like tons of wet plaster, padding, and other debris. By the time they left, I knew my next move would be the restoration. Several months later, I phone SunGlo again and asked for Denis. With the help of Karen, Denis and the rest of the SunGlo team, in a matter of weeks, the reconstruction of my home was underway.
Today, my home is the absolute favorite place for me, my cat and all of my friends. With the assistance of the team at SunGlo and the additional contractors hired by the company, I have increased the value of my home financially and aesthetically. "As you know, life has a way of speedily passing by, with some of us (at eighty one years of age) noticing it much more than others. Since more than five weeks has passed by from the time that I first alerted you by letter (to my concern that the insurance investigation was not proceeding very fast) I deem it proper to write to you for more assistance in quickly resolving this situation, so I can begin the tedious reconstruction work that needs to be done.
I would like to have your approval (and that of the Condominium Board of Directors) to commence work in some of the areas that have already been approved for coverage.
Because SunGlo Restoration Services did an excellent and speedy job in responding to the flooding situation, and undoubtedly kept damages to a minimum, they should be considered for providing the restoration work. They also have shown in their estimates that their work appraisal is fair and complete, and they have adequately answered whatever questions that I raised about the details. I found their management to be capable, helpful, and easy to work with in resolving issues that were discussed.
For these reasons, and the fact that I have confidence in SunGlo, I am asking that SunGlo be designated as the sole source of this reconstruction work on my condominium. Their management has indicated to me that they have the workforce in place so they could start the project next week.
As a condominium owner, that pays a substantial monthly fee to the Association, I hope to have them REPRESENT ME in the quest for true coverage on all of my substantial losses. Since I have not as yet moved into the condo, and have not put in any “upgrades”, I think in all fairness I should have my condo reconstructed so that the damaged property is restored to a “condition as good as that existing prior to the damage” as expressed in Article V, Section 5 of the Crown Pointe of Riverview Condominium Association By-Laws."

"I am sorry to have taken so long in getting this letter off to your company. But I wanted you to know that back in August of 07 my house was damage by a rain storm. The wind had ripped out one of the skylights from the roof and the rain was pouring in which also caused water damage. I called the Dearborn Heights Police Department for some names of a company that could board up the roof. SunGlo was one of the names given to me and the first company to return my call. I cannot tell you how pleased I am that I chose your company to do the repairs on my home.
The men who came to board up the hole in my roof were at the house within an hour. I was very pleased with the response time. I believe I received a call from Denis Jankowski that very next morning (it may have been that night). Immediately he got to work on the project of repairs. He had came to the house to inspect the damage and quickly Ishak Boussi and his co workers (I cannot remember all the names of the guys) came with machines and fans and all involved explained how this all was going to work. I needed a lot of work done in my kitchen, and I have to say thanks and let you and them know what a great job they all did. From the guys who boarded up the roof, Ishak, Mark and his team of men who replaced the skylights & roof. Also the other companies that were involved, Van Buren Electric, Andy’s Hardwood Floors, to the painter, the carpenter, all were very professional as well as friendly. All involved arrived when said, and all cleaned up so well that you never knew anyone was here working. SunGlo has a great team of people working for them.
But most of all, I’d like to thank Denis. He coordinated the repairs; one right after the other, and everything just fell in place and came together, one company after the next. He gave me names of people from whom I should expect a call and from what company. He answered all my calls, and when he was at another job, Karen was more than willing to help me with any questions I had.
Denis also worked with my insurance agent which was very helpful to me. I can’t say enough as to what a great job he did. Even though he was not doing the repairs and physical labor himself, he was probably the biggest part of getting them all done by knowing who and when to call each company. He is a great asset to SunGlo."

"I wanted to let you know that SunGlo had completed the work on our basement and the final inspection was completed with Pat Norton on Tuesday, September 19th. The work by all of the SunGlo people was done in a businesslike and extremely professional manner. We are very pleased with the final outcome. We would be happy to be used as a reference to any Nationwide client that needed the services of SunGlo.
I would like to add one comment that you might consider for future clients. We may be unusual that we have never before mad a Homeowners claim on our policy. We had no prior experience with the process of making a claim; or how the subsequent restoration work would be completed. Technically, the process was carried out with extreme professionalism, but as to the communication of the work during this project; I would have like more contact from both Nationwide and SunGlo. Often it seemed that we were “out of the loop”, although Nationwide and SunGlo knew what was happening. I am certain that this was not intentional, but it was frustrating at best during the process. In a conversation with our Betsey Reich, our Nationwide policy agent, we brought up that no one at any time during the restoration, did we receive any communication from ANYONE as to how things were progressing, did we have any questions or concerns, and finally were we happy with the work; that is until the job was completed and a check was being sent to us for payment of work.
Again, the important thing is that the work is finished; we are very happy and pleased with the end result."
