Continuing Education: Ethics
Course Description
This course will focus on Ethical Behavior, specifically how state law directs our actions as insurance agents. The class will be given the framework of ethical behavior and then given the state law specifically. Students will apply this knowledge to examples of unethical behavior. Discussions will include whether or not actions taken were legal and/or ethical.

About The Instructor
John Walker
CE Course Instructor, President of Insurance Advisors
John Walker is currently an Acrisure Agency Partner and President of Insurance Advisors in Commerce Twp., Michigan. John started his career in 1988 with Farmers Insurance Group after graduating from Michigan State University that same year. He is licensed in Multiple Lines, Accident, and Health & Life. In 2001, John sold his agency back to FIG and joined an up and coming Independent Agency, his current agency, Insurance Advisors. In 2005, John completed his CIC designation. He then served on the Professional Development Committee and the CIC/CISR Subcommittee with the Michigan Association of Insurance Agents. Currently he is also an instructor at the National Alliance for their CISR program teaching Home, Auto, Personal Misc and Ethics.
