WRT - Water Restoration Technician
Course Description
This course provides basic education for technicians and other materially interested parties in the science and practice of water damage restoration. Students will learn to be prepared to perform and document typical residential or light commercial water damage restoration projects from start to finish based on IICRC S500 Standard and Reference Guide for Professional Water Damage Restoration.

About The Instructor
Bryan A. Brainerd
IICRC Course Instructor, Education Director (WRT, ASD, FSRT)
Bryan has been involved in cleaning and restoration since 1994 and instructing seminars since 2000. Prior to starting Restoration Academy, he worked for ServPro and Paul Davis Restoration Inc., consulting on a wide variety of restoration jobs. He has developed training programs for employees, managers and owners of several restoration firms. After leaving Paul Davis Restoration Inc, Bryan was General Manager of Paul Davis Restoration of Indianapolis North until he opened his school in 2012.

Before developing an interest in restoration, Bryan spent five years teaching in the Air Force. This combination of experience and training greatly benefits those who take his class or use a manual that he has helped to develop.

Bryan has been approved by the IICRC to instruct the Water Restoration Technician (WRT) Fire Smoke Restoration Technician (FSRT) and the Applied Structural Drying (ASD) Courses .He is an IICRC Master Water and Fire Restorer and serves as a company representative to the IICRC certification board. Bryan served as an OSHA General Industry Outreach Trainer and served as an authorized Instructor for Residential Roofing Assessment for HAAG Engineering.
